The ECONOMY.....

It seems like in the not so distant past there was discussion surrounding the disappearing middle class. The middle class was being pushed down into the lower classes, while a small number seemed to get rich. There was a recent book about a CEO who had lost his job and now was working at Starbucks and it had changed his life. He learned the value of hard work or some shit that all of us already know. Also, that CEO's are now flying coach instead of private P Diddy private planes or first class. I think that the down economy is going to have a leveling effect. That it is going to knock some of the people that used to make "I'm rich, bitch" money to live more normal, reasonable lives.

Another thought it that Americans are now saving. The American way of buy now pay latter regardless of the price has slowed if not died. It would bring us back to a time when Americans would save more. Ask Cliff about this, he can explain it better than I could ever. It seems that the post depression era generations were more grateful and resourceful. Today's generations exude excess and entitlement. As much as it puts all of us in a pinch, this down economy will make us better off in the long run.....hopefully.
