people of the sun- rage against the machine

For my english class my senior year in high school we had to pick a song and talk about how it was poetry. I then talked about all the historical context of the song and how it talks about Mexicans in different ways. My teacher was a little apalled which I was glad. She also resigned to the fact that she was an old hippy and talked about how her music was revolutionary. I was Born to Rage Against 'em!
